FIVE must have things for a traveling business person...

FIVE must have things for a traveling business person...

My number one is above...

And my number two is below in tip of the week...

As you can see I treated myself to headphones a few weeks ago and used them on a recent train ride - I can't tell you what a godsend it was in a very packed and not very clean environment. It got me thinking about what else would make life easier so here goes...

  1. Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot: Imagine never having to hunt for Wi-Fi or worry about sketchy public networks again. A portable Wi-Fi hotspot is your own little slice of internet heaven, wherever you roam. It's like having a magic internet wand in your pocket, ensuring you're always connected for those all-important video calls or when you need to snatch a document from the cloud. Pure gold!
  2. Ergonomic Travel Pillow: Long journey ahead? No problem! With an ergonomic travel pillow, you can turn that plane seat or train ride into a cozy nook. These pillows are like a warm hug for your neck, ensuring you arrive feeling refreshed and ache-free, ready to dive into work or adventure. Plus, they're great conversation starters with fellow travelers.
  3. Smart Notebook: For those of us who love the feel of pen on paper but live in a digital world, a smart notebook is like having the best of both worlds. Scribble down your brilliant ideas, meeting notes, or random doodles, then zap them into your phone and have them neatly organised digitally. It’s like magic for your thoughts, keeping the romance of handwriting alive in our touch-screen age.
  4. Travel-Sized Multi-Device Charger: We've all been there – too many gadgets, not enough juice. Enter the hero of our story: a travel-sized, multi-device charger. This little powerhouse can charge your phone, laptop, those trusty Bluetooth headphones, and even your smartwatch simultaneously. It's like having a power station in your bag, ensuring you're always powered up and ready to go.
  5. Noise-Canceling Bluetooth Headphones: Okay, I know we've already talked about headphones in my tip below, but can we just take a moment for the noise-canceling feature? It's not just about listening to music or catching a podcast; it's about creating your own bubble of calm in the midst of chaos. Whether you're in a bustling airport or trying to tune out the hotel lobby noise, these headphones are your ticket to peace and focus.

Packing these goodies in your travel bag means you're not just prepared; you're set for an adventure. Traveling for work doesn't have to be all suits and schedules; with the right gear, it can be just as much about discovery and play.

Go on give it a go – you know you want to!

Until the next time…

Peter
